Words in the Burbs, take 2

It was so successful we’re doing it again! The second offering of Words in the Burbs North Shore takes place Thursday, May 7, 2026, 6:30-8:30, at Delany’s in Edgemont Village (North Van).

Co-hosts Carmen Farrell, Linda Mangnall, and I welcome to the mic seven more authors from Vancouver’s North Shore. All will dip into their publications, ranging from poetry anthologies to crime and historical fiction to creative nonfiction—with detours into other genres along the way.

Loud thanks to Delany’s Coffee House for once again opening their doors, and their hearts, to this free community event. As we discovered last time, there’s nothing like stories to bring neighbours together. We can’t wait to see who shows this time.

Delicious Delany’s food and drink available for purchase. Ditto authors’ books (cash only for those).

Another excellent turnout at Delany’s in Edgemont Village
