It’s a remarkable, almost dreamlike feeling to hold this book in my hands. So much of my heart is in it. I hope readers will discover the novel, that it will make them feel strongly and think deeply about difficult subjects, and above all that it will promote empathy and understanding of the jigsaw puzzle that is human nature.
