North Shore Authors Collection + book fair

A pile of books, with one spread open on the top, along with an insert that says North Shore Authors Collection

Uncontrolled Flight deals with universal themes (loss, love, grief, passion) but in its details it’s local, set largely in Vancouver and told against a backdrop of wildfire. With luck, more local readers will discover the novel now that it’s part of the 2023–2024 North Shore Authors Collection.

The collection, curated and displayed by the three North Shore library systems, features locally authored books in all genres. You can browse through the titles online or by visiting a physical branch.

If you’re around, drop by the collection’s book fair on Saturday, December 2, 10am–2pm, at the Lynn Valley Library. I’ll be there, eager to say hello, chat about my work, and sign copies.
