I’m beyond excited to share that The Broken Places and I are on the shortlist for the 2023 Rakuten Kobo Emerging Writer Prize (Literary Fiction category). It’s an honour to be named alongside such remarkable debut authors and books, including sister NeWest Press author C.J. Lavigne, whose In Veritas is a finalist in the Speculative Fiction category.
The winners will be announced June 22, 2023. As far as I’m concerned, making it onto a national shortlist is the definition of winning!
