I have two Uncontrolled Flight readings in the Vancouver area this month. Both are free and open to all. In the mood for a little fall literature? Please drop by.

  • Monday, November 18, 7:00-8:30pm: The Writer’s Studio Reading Series, hosted by SFU’s creative writing program, features a diverse lineup of writers each month. Registration not required. Container Brewing, 1216 Franklin St., Vancouver.
  • Saturday, November 23, 4:00-6:00pm: Author Christina Myers sits down with J.T. Siemens and me to discuss real-life issues in fiction. The InkWellTold series, hosted by the Delta Literary Arts Society, combines readings, discussion, and book signings. Register online. North Delta Centre for the Arts, 11425–84 Ave., Delta.
